I have to say that I love this series. I definitely recommend reading Wulf first as they underlying story continues from the first all the way through. This is one I’ve read multiple times and will continue to read occasionally. This has 21 chapters and no epilogue as it continues into the next. No cliffhanger though, so no worries.

This is about Bjarni and Gabriela. She runs a bakery and from Wulf, we know Bjarni loves to eat. Match made in heaven, right? He’s an Elemental and Gabriela is his mate. This start 6 months after Wulf.

These 2 have never spoken, but they’ve seen each other for a couple months and both feel a connection. She’s like Jas, as she has a special gift, hers is touch. When she touches someone, she sees their life, so she tries not to touch anyone ever.

Jas invites her to the compound and she’s hesitant, but she agrees. She’s really into Bjarni, but doesn’t think he’ll like her when he gets to know her.

So after meeting, Bjarni can’t get her off his mind. The night before the start of the book, he had one of the Jezebels give him a blowjob, but was unable to finish because he thought of Gabriela. I didn’t really hold it against him as they weren’t a couple and have never spoken.

Before she shows up to the compound, he goes off on Ceric cause he’s jealous, so he tells the guys that she may be his mate.

I love how they are all supportive of the other and I love that we get to see everyone from Wulf, I just love a continuing storyline.

Poor Gabriela, she worries people won’t like her cause she has no filter whatsoever, she just says whatever is on her mind. I just love her.

I love that everyone is very accepting of her gift. She tells Jas everything about her gift and her exboss who tried to force himself on her. Jas in return tells her everything about her own gift. She doesn’t feel as alone since she now has someone that is just like her. Neither are virgins.They do mate about 25% in, so that is great. I love when the main characters get together early in the book instead of waiting till the end.

She tells everyone her story about the exboss. Bjarni is pissed, even more so when he finds out he’s had her place bugged and he has all these private pictures of her.

She loves that she can touch the guys and Jas and not have a vision.

The Elementals are still trying to deal with the Keres and figure out what is going on.While out checking on a warehouse, Brandr is shot with a dart and later we find out it’s with his mate’s blood, which started the bonding. If you remember from Wulf, Brandr never wanted to find his mate because he watched what happened to his brother when he lost his mate and Brandr had to put him down. We’ll see a little bit of him, but we’ll see more of his story in his own book, which is next.

There is slight ow drama when she finds out about the Jezebels. She’s pissed and these men just don’t realize why they get upset. It’s over quickly. I mean, how could it not be? He loves her and there is no doubting that. The women figure out they can touch and connect with the other’s gifts. Like with Gabriela touching Jas when she has a vision and is painting, Gabriela touches her and can see into her vision, which I thought was pretty great. They find out where Aria, Brandr’s mate is and help the guys get to her.

The only om drama is the ex boss, and that’s over pretty quickly, he does try to get them in trouble with the law, but it doesn’t take.

This was a great story. Some steamy parts. I loved these two together and I love the continuing storyline. Kept me interested the whole way through. No epilogue as it continues into the next story. Loved it. I gave it 5 stars. I do not rate on editing. Hope you check it out. Thanks for reading.
