This has 8 chapters and an epilogue. It’s about Candice and Logan. Logan is her dad’s best friend. When she gets arrested, she calls Logan because she knows her dad will be pissed if she was to call him and she doesn’t want him to know.

We see that she’s been in love with him since she was 16 and he’s been obsessed with her for the same amount of time. Everything moves super fast. They are both still very much into the other. He thinks for a minute that he should leave her alone because of her dad, but he feels too much for her.

She’s a virgin and it does come out and say it, but I’m going with he was celibate since seeing her at 16, that’s what I want anyways.

I did love this as it was short and to point. We don’t have to see the wait of 3 years as it was done off page. Great read. A couple hot steamy parts. Definitely worth a read. No drama other than the guy who tried to force her off page, then Logan takes care of that.

Epilogue is 10 years out they are happily married and have 2 boys. We also find out that her father has had nothing to do with any of them since her and Logan get together, which is sad. But, Logan more than makes up for that loss. I like a book where you don’t have to wait through the whole thing for them to get together. Short and to the point just the way I like it. I gave it 5 stars because it was really good. Check it out. Thanks for reading.
