My review for Noble by Jordan Silver

Blurb: I left the hustle and bustle of the city to visit the small town where my late father was born, to offload the ancestral home that had been sitting empty ever since my grandfather died. I had no intentions of staying in the little backwater town any longer than was necessary…but then I saw her.

She’d been left at the altar two weeks earlier and was feeling less than human when he walked into her bar. She knew with one look that he wasn’t from around these parts, but what she didn’t know, and couldn’t understand, is why she was so affected by him and the hot looks he kept giving her throughout the night when just a few short days ago she’d been set to marry someone else. In the morning she was asking herself a whole other set of questions as she watched the stranger slide out of her bed.

May be spoilers:

I love Jordan Silver and I love her stories.

Noble has 12 chapters and an epilogue and is about Travis and Emerald. I have to say that I love when stories open up to them already having hot sex. So, yeah, hot steamy sex with spanking right off the bat and a little choking thrown in. Neither were virgins and she was set to marry her ex 2 weeks before the start of the story, and he’s been celibate for awhile. He was on his way back out of town when he stopped at Emerald’s bar and met her. He thought it was just going to be a one off, but they both fell pretty hard I think.

He’s a little skittish for a minute and he leaves for 4 to 5 days, just to see how he really feels and make arrangements so he can live with Emerald. I don’t see it as a true separation, since they weren’t really broken up.

This is just a short to the point story, which I love. The ex shows up for a second. Doesn’t last long at all. I loved it.

Epilogue is just a couple years out. They are happily married with a boy and girl. Great read, great writing, great sex. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.  Thanks for reading. Hope you check it out. You can get the book here: Noble
