Marlon has 12 chapters and an epilogue and is about Marlon and Unique. We met them in Peacock. So I definitely recommend you read that one first.

I love Esther E. Schmidt’s writing. I’m such a huge fan. I knew this one was going to be another hit. Marlon, I loved him. One of my favorite alpha’s.He can be an ass, and she was too, but I loved it.

They’ve been wanting each other since they met, and I love the fact that he hasn’t been with anyone since seeing her.

Recap-Unique got kidnapped and shot in the head, she told Marlon that the shot came from his side and he had to take some time to figure out why his VP did it, but in the process he lost her, even though they weren’t together, because she didn’t feel he trusted her.

Thankfully, we don’t have to wait out all the months of push/pull that happens off page.

We open up to Unique needing Marlon’s help. She finally comes to him. There is bickering back and forth. You can kind of see where Unique is coming from, but Marlon is all in from day one.

He’s going to protect her with everything he is. He’s already claimed her, he just has to get her to see that they are good together.

They are dealing with someone who is out for revenge for something her father did.

This story was awesome! I’ve been waiting on their story. There’s a lot of push/pull, bickering, and just plain fighting, but it worked. Marlon, there really are no words for him. He was all in and you can feel his emotions through the words, I loved it.

Some stories you read, and you just can’t feel any connections and even though they talk about how they are feeling, you can’t actually feel it. This one, there is nothing but feelings.

Such a great read. Neither were with others after meeting and neither were virgins. No separations once they get together. Hot sexy scenes, not as many as some of her other stories, but it fits with the story line.

Epilogue is 5 years out, they are very happily married with a 4 year old son and are pregnant. I loved this one. I can’t say it’s my favorite, because I love so many of her books, but Marlon is one of my favorite alpha’s. Can’t wait for the next story from this author. I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.
