My review for Ringing in the New Year by Alexa Riley

Blurb: Reed Sanders knew the first time he saw the neighbor girl in second grade that she was the one. He even stole his mom’s ring to seal the deal, but he got into trouble for doing it. It’s okay, though, because he knows that one day she’s going to be his wife and he’ll keep giving her the ring until then.

Cami Evans fell in love with the boy next door when she was seven years old. They spent their whole lives falling for one another until one day she’s taken from him. She spends five years with her father in a cult until she’s able to make her escape and find her way back to Reed.

Warning: Can true love happen when you’re just a kid? According to Alexa Riley it can! Fall head over heels for this ultra-sweet story of how childhood sweethearts find their way back to one another.

May be spoilers:

I love these authors. Ringing in the New Year has 10 chapters and 2 epilogues. It’s about Cami and Reed. This is just an adorably sweet story. They fall for each other in the 2nd grade. I love that we get to see their beginnings. They were so cute and Reed is just a sweetheart. They were so in love.

Her father takes her and it’s been 5 years since she’s seen Reed. You can feel the pain that Reed goes through missing her so much. She’s been in a cult for all this time and she’s finally found.

Everything moves super fast. He’s not letting her go again. They are both virgins and waited for the other knowing that no one else would do.

This was just a short, cute read that I loved. Epilogue is a week out, then 8 years after that. They are very happily married with 4 kids. Great read. I loved it. I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.  Thanks for reading. Hope you check it out. You can get the book on Amazon here: Ringing in the New Year
