Jordan Silver is one of my favorite authors. I love her forceful alphas. Broken has 22 chapters and an epilogue and it’s about Kerryanne and Kyle. I love that we get both their povs.

We open up to the story with Kerryanne dealing with her divorce from her highschool sweetheart. She did everything for him and with no notice or anything, she’s blindsided. He’s been cheating on her with her best friend. They destroy her and take everything. She’s hurt and feels so alone. She’s pulling herself back together in the beginning.

Kyle is back in town to help is grandpa since they lost his grandma. They meet when she leaves her apartment to go to the library. Sparks fly instantly when they touch, but she doesn’t want to go through what she just went through again.

Lucille butts in and gives her a computer and has Kyle go over to make sure she eats. He wants her, but at first he thinks she’s just going to be a passing fancy. He’s not ready to settle down. He’s a little pissy and a little bit of a jerk for a little bit, cause he knows he’s falling for her and thinks she’s still hung up on her ex.

I love that the Lucille and Kyle’s grandpa are playing matchmaker. It’s adorable.

Kyle is pissed that the ex won’t leave Kerry alone.

There’s a lot of hot, rough sex scenes with a little choking and spanking,even with the 1st sex scene starting in chapter 14. I love that they got to know each other first.

Lots of other woman and other man drama from her ex and his wife. The wife hates Kerry, and the ex wants her back. They are just loony. So that part pretty much lasts through the whole story.

It was a great read. I loved it. Kyle was a little over the top in some places, but I liked it. I’m a huge fan. Epilogue is just a few months later and they are happily married and their triplets are 6 weeks old. The ex and his wife, they get what they deserve.

Crazy story, but really good. Kerry does think about the ex for a lot of the story, but more in the sense of she doesn’t really understand what happened and she’s wasted all that time on him.
