I’ve decided to do both in one review as they are both from the What a Girl Wants series and are about the same couple and you can’t read one without the other.

Taken has 7 chapters and no epilogue as it moves straight into Bred. So this is about Jeremy and Nikki. We start off with him already taking care of her and both of them wanting the other.

Nikki’s father is a friend of his.

There is lots of hot, rough sex, with some punishments, with spanking and choking. So, if you don’t like reading that, you need to skip this one. She’s a virgin and there’s quite a bit of breeding talk. Everything moves super fast.

There’s slight other woman drama when they run into one of his fk buddies. It was only a split second, but it hurts her cause she knows when she leaves he’ll go back to the other woman. She does get punishment sex with choking and spanking cause Nikki flirts with another man after that. He gives her the silent treatment that last about a day until she apologizes then they make up. It ends right there. No epilogue as it moves into the next.

Bred has 8 chapters and an epilogue. This one just continues straight from Taken. From the title, we know in this one that she’s pregnant. He is all in and is not hesitant at all about it.

Slight other woman again as he feels the need to talk to 3 of his fk buddies in person to tell them there will be no more.

She leaves to go shopping for a few hours and he’s pissed because she didn’t tell him and the walk was an hour. So there is a punishment scene afterwards.

Her parents come in and the dad does hit her, but it all gets worked out as Jeremy protects her.

I have to say that this was a great story. I loved it. But I’m a huge fan of this author and I love her forceful alphas. Epilogue has them married with a son and pregnant with a daughter.
