Blurb: Theo
I went home when my brother told me he was marrying someone he just met. I never expected to find my bride sitting there lost in my parent’s living room. It didn’t help that she was only seventeen. I’ve waited for years to claim my bride, now that she’s finally home there’s nothing that will stop me from marrying her and giving her my name.
Ellie
Running away to college seemed like a good idea at the time, but it’s only thrown a bigger wedge between us, one that is self-imposed since my sister is endlessly trying to get me to come home. I’ve never felt more alone than I do now. My sister, my best friend, the one person I counted on, has a new family now. I don’t know where I fit.
When my sister buys me a plane ticket to come home I have to go. I never thought coming home would feel like this. Didn’t think there was a place for me. Theo is proving there’s room in their lives for one more. He’s gone as far as wanting to give me his name. Will I take it?
This book is about Jasmine’s sister from The Bride’s Christmas Miracle. As with all my books, there is a guaranteed HEA and is Safe. Follow along for a swoon-worthy novella.
May be spoilers:
A Bride for Theo has 10 chapters and 2 epilogues and is about Theo and Ellie.
We meet Ellie when her sister Jasmine is talking her into coming home. She’s already graduated even though the sister doesn’t know, but she doesn’t want to be a burden.
We see that she thinks Ford, Jasmine’s husband has been paying her an allowance, but it’s actually been Theo trying to take care of her.
They met at Jasmine and Ford’s wedding, but she was only 17, so he couldn’t stake his claim, but he knew she was his. Now she’s coming home and there is no way that he isn’t making her his.
I haven’t read The Bride’s Christmas Miracle yet that was Jasmine’s book, and I don’t feel that I’m missing anything.
They see each other for the first time again when he goes and gets her at the airport. She is head over heels for him and doesn’t think they would match cause she doesn’t think she’s good enough for him. She doesn’t realize that he’s in love with her too. He’s waited 4 years for her and he’s done.
Dual virgins, which I love. There was some steamy scenes. She freaks and leaves cause she’s so insecure thinking she’s not good enough. She’s pissed at herself and heartbroken.
He’s pissed when he finds out she’s gone and he can’t go after her right away cause his parents had an accident. It’s a week later before he’s able to get to her in the middle of her interview for a phone sex operator position, which she had just told the woman she couldn’t do it. Definitely could tell he was still pissed.
Great read. I loved it. Epilogue is a few days out, then 16-17 years, they are happily married with 4 boys and 2 girls, I believe. Pretty safe, no real drama other than her being insecure. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Thanks for reading. Hope you check it out. You can get the ebook on Amazon here: A Bride for Theo
