Saving Penelope is the 1st in The Knights series. It has 21 chapters and 2 epilogues, and it’s about Monroe and Penelope.

We meet Penelope when she’s finishing up her shift at work. She’s struggling with life cause her roommate left her to foot the bill and she’s exhausted. She feels someone watching her and when she gets off work, someone chases her and she meets Monroe when she crashes into the wedding.

Monroe knows right away she’s his mate. He’s a bear shifter and I love that shifters can’t have sex with anyone other than their mate, so he’s still a virgin, which is awesome in my book as she’s a virgin too.

His company is doing the security for his friends wedding. She’s a little scared, but he just takes to her right away.

They find out that the man that is stalking her, stalked and killed other women and is a vampire..

I love that his friends and mom just take to her right away.

So this story is just mostly them finding each other and dealing with the stalker. It was a good story, just sometimes didn’t flow very good and for me, I didn’t feel what the characters felt. It was still a good debut novel.

Epilogue is 5 years out, then 10 years later, they have 3 boys and a girl and are pregnant.

Perfectly safe with some steamy scenes, no cheating, no ow/om drama and no separations with a HEA. Dual virgins and instalove.

I gave it 3.5 out of 5 stars because something was missing for me, if I could have felt the connection it would have been a 5 star read for me.
