Caelius is the 9th book in the Elementals MC series. It has 19 chapters and is about Caelius and Alaia. I definitely do recommend reading in order as you’ll miss part of the story line if you skip. All the Elementals are in each story, so you don’t want to miss something by skipping. This is one of my favorite series, so I’m very thankful to be able to receive this story. One of my favorite paranormal series.

If you’ve read the other stories in the series, you know that the Keres are still the bad guys.

You would also know that each Elemental have a mate and they know as soon as they see and/or speak to each other. When they touch, that’s when the bonding starts and it isn’t complete until they each take blood from the other and have sex.

At the beginning, we see that Alaia and her twin are in hiding. She has the gift of making things grow and feeling the Keres from out of the ground, while her sister’s ability is being able to feel where people close to her are and how they are doing.

They meet Caelius, Gunner and Ceric while they are trying to move and Alaia feels a connection to Caelius. Caelius knows who she is as he’s seen her picture and he can feel that she’s his. Neither are virgins. It looks like there is a connection between Gunner and Sara also.

Caelius, we see that he was held and tortured years ago. It’s heartbreaking to hear his story.

I love that we get to see all the characters from each story continue. I love a continuous story.

They bond right away. I loved this from this beginning. The women in these stories are just as awesome as the men. Alexi Ferreira definitely wrote some great characters. Each matches their gifts and their men.

They are still dealing with the Keres and Katya helping Vercin. The women, I know I just said it, but they are totally awesome. This story was so great. I loved it. Not only were they dealing with figuring out a way to help the Keres without hurting the women, they also had to deal with other Elementals who want to find their mate right now and Alaia and Sara’s brother.

The only thing that I didn’t like was that there was no epilogue. I know it’ll continue in Draco’s story, which we get a peek at at the end, but I wished it was longer.

Such a great story line. Some things are gone back over, so you don’t really feel like you missed anything if you didn’t read previous stories, but I wouldn’t recommend reading out of order. I know I already said that once, but it really is a great story that you need to read from the beginning.

Caelius and Alaia were great together. Had a few steamy scenes that were pretty good.

Draco’s story is next and I am so very excited. I can’t wait to read his story, I just love him. He is awesome. His story is going to be great. Katrina is a firecracker.Can’t wait.

My favorite part of this series is we get to see more of the couples from previous books. I love the continuing story line as I don’t want it to be over.

I did receive a copy of this book for my own enjoyment and honest opinion. I gave this 5 out of 5 stars even without an epilogue, cause I know we’ll see more of them. I can’t believe I’m saying this cause I’ve loved every story that Alexi Ferreira writes, but this has got to be my favorite of the series, even though some things weren’t finished. I know Draco is going to by pass that and I can’t wait.  Thanks for reading. Hope you check it out.
