Okay, so the second time I didn’t actually run off to Vegas. I live here now. I’m the stage manager at one of the hottest burlesque clubs on the strip.

I wouldn’t exactly say I was living my dream, but when you meet, marry, and get dumped by the love of your life all within a twelve hour span, let’s just say, it can throw a wrench in the plans for your life. And at least it gave me an excuse stay in the city where I’d last seen…him.

Kellan Sullivan. He was all bedroom eyes and sexy swagger, and I knew he was the one for me the moment I saw him. I thought he felt the same right up until he asked for an annulment the morning after our wedding.

I never thought I’d make the same mistake twice. But when I open my eyes to find I’d married Kellan again, I figured at least I had the opportunity to do the one thing we hadn’t gotten around to the first time—consummate the marriage!

My plan is to get Kellan out of my system—and lose my virginity in the process—before I show him the door. But he’s got other plans. Plans that involve words like forever and happily ever after. It’ll take a lot for him to convince me to gamble on love, but I’m betting my heart that Kellan is up to the challenge this time around.

Lucky Hook Up is the 2nd in the Lucky in Love series. It has 11 chapters and 2 epilogues and is about Kellan and Amber.

Two years ago they got married in Vegas and the very next morning, Kellan said they would get the marriage annulled and left her because he didn’t think he was good enough for her yet.

So at the start of this, he’s put his ring back on her finger and makes her think they had another drunk night and got married. He never got the annulment, he just wanted to better himself for her. He’s been celibate and she’s still a virgin.

Everything moves super fast. He explains everything. They are both in love with the other, but she’s pissed from how she was treated the first time.

No worries though. Very glad we don’t have to go through the 2 years apart. They get back together quickly. No real drama. I thought it was a great read. Once they are together again, no other separations, no cheating, no ow/om drama which I thought was great.

Epilogue is a couple months out, then 5 years later, they are happily married with 3 boys and pregnant hoping for a girl. I loved it. Great writing.
