I can tell she’s about to pass out and I get to her just as she’s collapsing. Her legs give out and she falls into my chest. I wrap an arm around her waist to hold her up. She looks up at me and says the words that send fire in my veins and make me cling to her even tighter.

“Please don’t let them get me.” Those eyes. They look right down into my soul and rearrange something deep inside. My protective instincts all kick into high gear.

“You’re safe, angel. I’ve got you.”

This is author is a new one for me. This is the 1st story that I’ve read from Cameron Hart and I have to say that just reading the sample made me get the book. The writing was perfect for me. I think I’ve found another great author. Will definitely be reading more.

Saving Claire is the 1st in the Chaos series. It has 27 chapters and is about Claire and Jax. I know 27 chapters seem like a lot, but it reads fast.

Claire is being hurt after trying to escape the cult she’s been living in. She’s very strong, in my opinion. She’s hurting, but she’s going to do everything in her power to save herself. We do see some of the torture she suffered. For the safety gang: she is threatened with rape, but it never goes that far.

Jax is part of Chaos and he seems like a really great guy. Yes, there are club girls, but he wants more than just getting laid.

Claire is able to get away and runs. She runs right to the MC and falls right into Jax’s arms. Definite insta on his part. He’s all in from the beginning. The club has things going on, so he’s away for a few days, but Claire is never far from his thoughts.

She goes a little back and forth with wondering if she should leave because she’s scared Jax and her new family will get hurt because of her.

It doesn’t get steamy till close to the halfway point, but I didn’t miss out on anything and I love steamy scenes. With as hurt as she was, it definitely made sense. She’s a virgin and he’s been celibate for a year.

Jax is amazing. I loved him. He loves her so much, doesn’t matter how long he’s known her. I loved that he didn’t hide his feelings from her and we don’t have to deal with any ow drama.

It gets very steamy with a little spanking thrown in.

The only drama is from the cult and she gets a little pissed and runs,but Jax isn’t far behind her.

This story, wow, I could feel the emotions of the characters and that’s not always the case. I loved this, it was such a great read.

No cheating, no ow/om drama at all-no talk of seeing any of the girls he was with, only a few hours separation, instalove/lust to the max.

I do love the world building.The only negative is there is no epilogue. Maybe we’ll see them in the next story? Not sure really. They are engaged and love each other at the end.

I gave it 4 out of 5 stars only because of no epilogue.  Thanks for reading. Hope you check it out.
