Nailed Down is the 2nd in the Hammers and Veils series. I haven’t read the first one yet. It has 9 chapters and 2 epilogues and is about Lola and Mason.

They knew each other in high school and Lola had a massive crush on him, but nothing ever came of it.

Now, they meet again when he’s the construction worker there to help her with her house. Little iffy at first and then they actually talk, which I thought was great.

Everything moves super fast. She’s a virgin and he’s been celibate for a little while. We find out why she thinks he rejected her. Safety:A guy did try to force himself on her in high school, he grabbed her breast, but she protected her self.

I loved this one. A few steamy scenes. It was really great. No cheating, no ow drama. Great read.

Epilogue is a couple weeks out, then 8 years later. They are happily married with twin girls and foster kids. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.  Thanks for reading. Hope you check it out.
