I received an ARC for an honest review. I’m a big fan of this series.
Tap’d Out is the 5th in the Dead Presidents MC series. This story has 19 chapters and an epilogue and is about Tap and Sasha.
Sasha is a police officer and she’s been put on leave because she won’t leave well enough alone, according to her boss. So she takes things into her own hands and goes into the hornet’s nest.
For safety gang: She is given X without her permission which makes her not to be able to say no for sex with a biker. It is descriptive. She feels she has to stay the course to save the girls. Normally, I don’t really like to see the main characters with others, especially being so descriptive, but I think it goes with the story line, so I continued on.
Tap is part of the Dead Presidents MC, but they don’t know the real him. He keeps his real life private as he doesn’t trust and he’s very security conscious.
They finally meet at chapter 7 when he rescues her even though she doesn’t want to be rescued. The only drama is from her rape. Dealing with the bad guys and Tap showing who he really is.
I really hate that we actually had to see her with someone else, but again, I really think it fit with the storyline. It’s always a good read when you can feel the characters emotions.
I loved how all in Tap was, he was a little hesitant at first, but it didn’t last long. He couldn’t keep his distance from her, which was pretty great. He was very honest and told her everything. I loved them together. They both felt an instant connection.
It was a little steamy in parts, little disturbing in the beginning. Absolutely great story. I loved seeing previous characters. I loved that Tap’s family was all in with Sasha, no hesitation at all.
No cheating between main characters, no ow drama with the main characters, ow drama with the bad guy, no separations.
Epilogue is only 2 weeks out, I do wish that it was further out. They are living together at the end and saying “I love you”. Great read. I loved it. I don’t really see it as a HEA, more like a HFN, but still great.
I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Thanks for reading. Hope you check it out.
