Love and Lies is the 2nd in the Bosses in Love series and has 18 chapters and 2 epilogues and is about Mabel and Weston.

We meet Mabel who is doing everything she can to help her father. She took out a loan with a loan shark and now he is blackmailing her to work for Weston so that he can take him down from the inside. Poor girl, she doesn’t want to, but she isn’t given a choice as she’ll be taken from her dad when he needs her the most.

They meet when she’s hired to be his assistant and they both fall instantly. She feels so guilty for what she has to do.

Wes is doing everything he can to make her his. They have both been celibate for years.

Great story, which just a touch of drama. I loved it. They were just perfect together.

No cheating, no ow/om drama, no separations, only slight pushing away in the beginning, but didn’t last long.

Epilogue is 5 years out, then another 6 years. They are happily married with 2 kids. I just love this author. On to the next one.
