I received an ARC for an honest review. I love this author’s short stories. They may be short, but they have a good amount of steam, which I love.

Hardboiled Fake Honeymoon is the 4th in the Sutter City series. It has 15 chapters and an epilogue and is about Corbin and Paige.

They work together as PIs and they have just been given an assignment to pretend to be on their honeymoon.

They bicker a lot, which I thought was funny. They both want the other, even from the beginning. I thought it was a cute story. Very steamy. Only drama is from their assignment.

Great read. I loved it.

No cheating, no separations, no ow/om drama.

Epilogue is a few months later. They are married and are on their honeymoon. I do wish that we were shown further down the road, but it was still a good story.
