Carlos and Maven is the 1st in the It’s Time series. It has 11 chapters and an epilogue and is about Maven and Carlos.

Carlos is Maven’s dad’s boss. They meet when there is a family outing. They both fall hard, but he tries to keep his distance for almost a year.

He’s been celibate for 10 years and she’s a virgin. She does try to make him jealous and make his move by flirting with someone else.

They very much want the other. Everything moves super fast.

He’s decided that he’s tired of waiting. Some steamy parts, which were really good.

The only drama was from her dad, he was not happy and took her away. Carlos couldn’t find her for 6 weeks. Once he did, he didn’t let her go again.

I thought it was a pretty good story. I loved it. No cheating, no ow drama, she does use a guy to flirt with, but nothing happened, 6 week separation.

Epilogue is 6 months later. They are happily married with a son. I wish it was a little further out, but it was still good. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.  Thanks for reading. Hope you check it out.
