Review: Fighting Irish by May Gordon

Published Sept. 2018

Blurb: Molly Dunne, the only granddaughter of Connor, head of the Irish mob, is focused on training for her next fight. She was born and raised in Ireland and had no plans to leave until a threat forces her to. Fleeing her home for the States, she stays with one of her family’s oldest rivals, unaware of the deal made to ensure her safety would become permeate changing her life forever.

Quinn O’Sullivan didn’t hesitate to accept Connor’s proposition, marriage in exchange for inventory worth millions. He had no time or desire to have a woman in his presence, but she’d be gone as soon as her trouble passes with and they’d get divorced. However, he’s a goner after one look at the redheaded beauty and has no intention of ever letting her go.

But when the threat follows her, Quinn and Molly’s marriage is tested, and they find themselves showing their enemy what fighting Irish really means. But once the battle is over, where does that leave them?

Warning: Sweet, sexy and safe read! Happily ever after guaranteed! This author writes what she likes to read. That means there will be instalove, OTT Heroes, and, brace yourselves, virgin characters at times. If none of those float your boat, you might want to find another book. If they do, you’re in the right place.

May be spoilers:

Fighting Irish is the 2nd in the Crime Kings series. Has 15 chapters and 2 epilogues and is about Molly and Quinn. I do recommend reading in order as we meet Quinn in the first story.

Quinn is one of the Crime Kings. He’s married Molly without seeing her in exchange for all her granddad’s inventory.

Irish is a fighter and she is awesome. She’s a virgin. Quinn has been celibate for many years.

They both fall at first sight. All in right from the beginning. There is no pushing away, which I loved. I love how they love each other.

The only separation is when Quinn is kidnapped and he’s gone for a month before they find him.

I love this story. Lots of action. A few steamy scenes. Great storyline. No drama in their relationship, all drama is from the outside. I loved it. Such a great read.

No cheating, no ow drama, the only om drama is from the villain, only separation is for a month and it was from his kidnapping.

Epilogue is 6 years out, then 12 years later. They are happily married with 2 boys and a girl. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.  Thanks for reading. Hope you check it out.
