Blurb: Sometimes the forbidden can be too hard to resist. Even for someone like me…
I never would’ve imagined that I could be that person. I’ve read the stories, and seen the fallout. And yet here I am, befallen by the same fate as those who tried and failed before me.
But has anyone ever felt this way about the forbidden lover?
Sure he was of age, but would the world even care, or will they, if found out, just see the teacher and the student….
She might be the teacher in class, but there’s no doubt who takes the lead in our bed.
I know she’s worried about us being caught, so I’ll do everything in my power to protect her, to keep anyone from knowing what we’ve come to mean to each other. But we’ve come too far to turn back. No matter what, no matter the risk, I won’t let her go.
May be spoilers:
Teacher’s Pet has 41 chapters with an epilogue and is about Drake and Liz.
It does start off a little slow, but I think it needed the history and what each was thinking.
Liz is a shy teacher and has been talked into teaching the football players, when she usually teaches grade schoolers. She’s very alone as she didn’t have a good childhood.
Drake is the quarterback and he’s written to be pretty perfect, does everything right, not a manho and seems to have the perfect family.
I have to say, it was slow going in the beginning, but I loved it. Drake was awesome, I just loved him.
Lots of steam. I loved how they were together. I loved that he wouldn’t let anything come between them and he was very protective of her.
I thought it was a great read. Lots of internal monologues, but I think it went great with the story.
It’s just a story of these two falling in love. Lots and lots of sex, which I loved.
No real drama, no ow drama, little om drama in the form of her stalker-he does attack her, but Drake gets to her in time, her shirt gets ripped, not descriptive, no separations.
I really loved it, but I’m a huge fan of Jordan Silver.
Epilogue is just a few months out. They are happily married and just giving birth to a baby girl.
I really wish for an epilogue that’s a little further out, but it was still a great read, I thought.
I love the steaminess and I love how Drake was with Liz. Liz, she was very shy, but such a sweetheart. I love how he brought her out of her shell. Definitely worth a read. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Thanks for reading.
