The Handmaiden is set in 2045. Has 23 chapters with an epilogue and is about Brax and Alyssa.

If you are not ok with reading rough sex,punishments with spankings, whippings and choking, this is definitely not for you.

He saw her and figured out a way to get her father to sell her to him.

The one thing that I did not like was that she is told she’s just his pet as he wouldn’t treat the woman he marries like he does her. In their world, rich men can do what they want to their subs, they can breed them as many times as they want.

Lots of violence as he whips, spanks and chokes her.

I still liked it. It’s definitely rough. Lots of steam. You can feel the emotions in this one.

No cheating, no ow/om drama, no separations-only cause she was chained or locked up most of the time in the beginning.

Epilogue is 2 ½ years out. They are happily married with 3 kids and pregnant.

Safety gang: Definitely not safe.  His father and his father’s friends took advantage of one of Brax’s subs years ago-not descriptive. His father does rip Alyssa’s dress, but she’s saved by Brax. Lots of whipping, spanking, choking, rough sex. Not all consensual in the beginning.
