Review: Love’s Valley Duet by Haven Rose and May Gordon

Published Aug. 2019

Blurb: One look and you will find your soulmate. That’s the legend of one of Love’s Valley’s founding families.

Twins Cecilia and Charlotte lost their mom a year ago, and recently learned their dad never wanted them. Needing to reconnect with family, they travel to their aunt’s and hope to rekindle the bond they once shared. However, fate has other plans when they’re stranded near a small-town and they just might find the home they were looking for.

Levi and Mason have long heard of their family’s legend, but never fully believed it even if they wanted it to be true. Then they experience it themselves and discover love at first sight is real. But it doesn’t always come easy.

Thankfully, legends and fate are stronger than the walls that might keep these couples apart.

May be spoilers:

Love’s Valley Duet has 2 stories. I do love these 2 authors so I couldn’t wait to read.

The stories are about brothers meeting their soulmates.

First up is Spark to Love. It has 4 chapters and is about Levi and Charlotte.

They meet when Charlotte and her sister break down in Levi’s town.

Definitely a case of instalove to the max. There is a legend in town and they are now apart of it.

Both are virgins, which I thought was sweet.

The only drama is when her sister makes her doubt herself and they leave for a few hours before Levi and Mason go after them.

It’s a cute read. Only one sex scene, but it was still good. Epilogues are at the end.

No ow/om drama, no cheating, only a few hours separation.

Next up is Lesson in Love. Has 5 chapters and is about Mason and Cecilia.

Some parts are the same from the first part, just from a different pov. This one starts where Charlotte and Cecilia split up.

She meets Mason and even though it’s instalove, there is a little misunderstanding and that’s why she leaves. It’s only a few hours. It’s a cute story. Both are virgins.

Both stories are cute with just a touch of steam.

No cheating, no ow/om drama and just a few hours separation.

Short story even with both stories. Connection was better with the first couple I thought. Good read.

Epilogue is just a few days later, then 10 years later. Both couples are happily married with kids.  gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Thanks for reading.
