Blurb: Just because you’re beautiful, rich and popular doesn’t mean you’re immune…
Kristi Bronwyn is having the time of her life. A month shy of her eighteenth birthday, she’s already been accepted to one of the best Ivy League Universities in the country, her social life is the envy of most teenage girls, and best of all, her best friend from childhood has moved back to town and they’ve rekindled their friendship with a twist.
The Brandon who moved away was a kid, but this new hot guy looks like he just stepped off the pages of a glossy magazine. Her friends all envy her, but Kristi knows that no one could ever break the bond of their friendship that had been formed when they were kids, to destroy the new love they now have for each other.
And then one day she wakes up in a strange room in a strange house with no memory of how she got there, and things just go downhill from there.
May be spoilers:
I’m a huge fan of Jordan Silver, so I thought I’d try this one out.
The Incident has 16 chapters and is about Brandon and Kristi.
At the beginning of this, we’re kind of thrown in the middle as the incident already happened and she’s all alone.
Her and Brandon were best friends for years and then he was gone for 4 years, but then when he came back, their friendship turned to love.
You can definitely feel the emotions in this story. Kristi’s heart is shattered. She loses Brandon for a few weeks because of the pictures. Things turn around when she tries to kill herself.
Brandon, he did turn his back on her and I can kind of see his point, but he definitely made up for it and I love that he turned into an alpha.
She’s a virgin and so even with the pictures with her naked, nothing else happened. I love that he’s a virgin too and waited for her.
I really thought it was a great story, I loved it. Steamy bits. Great read. The only drama is from what happened and them trying to deal with it.
No cheating-even though pictures make it seem that she did, ow/om drama-just the bad guys, or just the pictures really, separation-couple of weeks.
I loved it. I do wish for an epilogue though. They get married at the end. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
