Blurb: As a crime king, Duke Walker is one of the most powerful men in the country and runs his state like a well-oiled machine. His reputation alone speaks volumes and his focus is solely on business and keeping his ties to the other bosses strong. But he’s lonely, his hope of finding his soulmate fading each day she doesn’t appear.

Blair Russo is a nanny and adores the baby she’s caring for. Unfortunately, the mother is a nightmare. Determined to protect him from the chaos he was born into, Blair takes him and flees to Texas to seek sanctuary with his uncle. She finds the safe haven they need, and loses her heart in the process.

Duke soon discovers he’s surrounded by enemies, navigating a warzone with dangerous stakes. Can he defeat them and claim the family he’s always wanted? Or will he lose his cherished love?

Warning: Sweet, sexy and safe read! Happily ever after guaranteed! This author writes what she likes to read. That means there will be instalove, OTT Heroes, and, brace yourselves, virgin characters at times. If none of those float your boat, you might want to find another book. If they do, you’re in the right place.

May be spoilers:

Cherished Love is the 7th in the Crime Kings series. I believe each is a standalone, but I do recommend reading in order as they are all great. This one has 13 chapters with 2 epilogues and is about Duke and Blair.

Duke is a crime king. Blair is a sweetheart. She’s taking care of Duke’s nephew and trying to protect him from his mother.

They meet when she goes to Duke for help. Instalove right away. Both are virgins, which I thought was awesome.

Yes, Duke is a crime king, but he wants what his parents have, which I thought was sweet.

I love that there was no push/pull. She was very honest with what was going on and even before knowing that Matteo wasn’t hers, he was planning on keeping them.

I loved it. The only drama is from his sister and the only separation is when she’s kidnapped, and it was a very short time.

Great read. Flows really well, which makes for a great read. Really loved how sweet and all in both were from the very beginning.

No cheating, no ow drama-other than the sister, no om drama, no separations-other than when she was kidnapped.

Epilogue is 5 years, then another 5 years out. They are happily married with 3 kids.

Great read from start to finish. Definitely felt the connection and even though it was instalove, they got to know each other before being intimate.

I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.  Thanks for reading. Hope you check it out.
