Dark Souls is the 1st in the Crime Kings series. It has 18 chapters and 2 epilogues and is about Lawson and Cleo.

Lawson is one of the Crime Kings and he’s been celibate for many years. She’s a virgin and she doesn’t live on the right side of the law either.

They meet when someone kidnaps her thinking she’s Lawson’s woman. It becomes true when he hears her voice.

When they meet, they both fall hard and fast. Everything moves super fast as they are both all in from the beginning.

They are separated for 2 months, but it was because she was kidnapped, not because they wanted to be.

I love how much he loves her. You can definitely feel the emotions in this one. I loved it. Such a great read. Lots of action, which I loved. Steamy in some places. No ow/om drama at all, no cheating, only separation is when she is kidnapped. Great story.

Epilogue is 2 months out, then 10 years later. They are happily married with 2 kids.
