Love Letters is the 2nd in the Boot Camp series. Each can be read as a standalone. This has 8 chapters with an epilogue and it’s about Kelly and Riley. We did meet Kelly in the 1st story.

I really love that we get to see their beginning.

They met right after Riley’s graduation. Definite instalove from the start. Neither are virgins.

They spend one beautiful night together, but he messes up and doesn’t tell her that he’s leaving the following day. She’s heartbroken, thinking she’s just a one night stand, even though he does try to make her see that she’s not.

He shows her with letters how much she means to him, which I thought was sweet. I love that they got to know each other this way, but I really wish they weren’t apart through most of the story. They were only together the 1st and last chapters as he was gone for 4 months.

It was cute, the letters were really sweet. I liked it, just wish they were together for more of the story.

No cheating, no ow/om drama, separations are really just distance only besides the blip before the first letter, so just a split second of pushing away by Kelly, not steamy.

Epilogue is a year out. They are happily married with a son. I do wish it was further out, but it was still a good short story. I gave it 3.5 out of 5 stars. Thanks for reading.
