Damaged Locke is the 1st in the Locke Brothers series. Has 24 chapters with an epilogue and is about Aston & Kadence.

I do want to warn that there is a lot of violence and it is descriptive. If you aren’t comfortable reading that, then you’ll want to skip this series.

Aston and his brothers have had a rough life. Their parents were terrible and then they were killed at the same time that Aston was hurt and left for dead. No they deal out their own brand of justice.

Kadence has just moved to town after losing her mother to suicide.

They see each other and feel a connection right off the bat. They both fall hard and quick. You can feel the sparks even before they speak.

Neither hesitate or push away. They are both all in from the beginning.

I love that they are both very honest with each other about everything.

Both of their pasts are heartbreaking, but I think it draws them closer together.

Lots of steaminess, which I loved. Rough sex with choking and spanking. I loved it.

The only drama is from outside sources- the guys that they beat the crap out of. No ow/om drama-we don’t have to read about their sexual pasts, no cheating, no separations.

Reads fast as it flows very well. I loved it.

Safety gang: Aston does save her from a guy who was trying to rape her.

Epilogue is 6 months out. They are happily together. The epilogue is just a set up for the next one. Still good, just wish for it to be further out, but I know we’ll see both in the next stories.
