Kept by the Boss has 16 chapters with an epilogue and is about Harrison and Jenna.

Jenna works with her friend at her uncle Harrison’s bar. Jenna hasn’t met Harrison in person, but she gets little notes that she hopes are from him.

Harrison has fallen quickly for her through a picture. He’s been looking out for her, even though she doesn’t know it. He’s kept his distance because he thinks he’s too old for her and he’s scarred.

Things change when there is a brawl in the bar. She’s sent to stay at his cabin.

It does take until chapter 8 before they actually speak in person and chapter 15 before they even kiss. So, it was very, very slow for me.

She’s a virgin and he’s been celibate for years. Steamy scene was pretty good, but I wish they had gotten together way sooner. Still a good read though.
