Stone is the 3rd in the CIG series. It can be read as a standalone, but I do recommend reading in order as we see characters from the other 2 stories. It has 11 chapters with 2 epilogues and is about Dante and Lucy.

Dante and the recruits he’s been training are hired to get back something that was stolen. Things go bad when they are ambushed and Dante is hurt but he’s the only one who made it out alive.

Lucy is the doctor who takes care of him and even with Dante being a jerk a couple of times, I loved them together.

I love that they take a little time getting to know each other. They’ve both been celibate for a few years.

After they finally reveal their feelings and have one awesome night, she leaves thinking it’s only going to be for 2 weeks, but that turns into 3 months before he finds her.

I loved it. Not a lot of steam, but what there was, was pretty good. Little action, little love, pretty good read.

No cheating, no ow/om drama, 3 months apart.

Good read. Great addition to the series.

Epilogue is at 5 years out, then at 10. They are happily married with a girl and a boy. I gave it 🌟🌟🌟 ½ . Thanks for reading.
