His Protected Artist is the first from this author that I have read. It’s the 1st in the Theta Executive series and has 10 chapters with an epilogue and is about Luke and Alexis.

Alexis is an artist and is doing work for Luke’s building. They come face to face when she’s running from someone who wants to hurt her.

Luke has felt a connection for her for 6 months from a picture. They talk and email but never face to face even though he watches her on cameras.

He feels like he can’t take time away from work for a relationship, so he’s not going to pursue her even though he wants to.

Things change though when she runs into him. She doesn’t feel she’s good enough.

It does take till close to the end for them to actually get together. It has one sex scene. Still a good read though.

No cheating, no ow drama, om-just a blip from someone who wanted her.

Epilogue is 6 months out. They are living together and pregnant. I really do wish for a further out epilogue and wish there was more couple time. Good read.
