Published Sept. 2019

While escaping her past, she found her future.

Losing both her parents at a young age shaped Aster’s life. She closed herself off from forming connections but can’t resist helping a stranger in need. Her actions have consequences, though.

Watching his friends fall, he never thought he would, too.

Grant relocated to Jasper, resigned to his role as the last single man in the group, and he never expected that to change. Until he stumbled upon a damsel in distress. Their bond forms quickly, even as he suspects she’s keeping a secret.

But things aren’t always what they seem.

Her life might be a lie, but their love for one another isn’t. The question is, what is she hiding and can Grant uncover the truth in time?

Warning: Take one woman guarding her heart and the man determined to win it and you’ll have this story. You never know what’ll happen by Summer’s End.

May be spoilers:

Summer’s End is the 7th in the Holidays in Jasper series. They are each a standalone, but some of the characters crossover, so I do recommend reading in order. It has 11 chapters with 3 epilogues and is about Grant and Aster.

Aster is in hiding and under protection when she meets Grant when she gets a flat tire. Definite instaconnection/instalove right off the bat. She’s a little hesitant because she can’t say who she really is.

I like that they work on getting to know each other before they become intimate.

It’s been years since either has been with anyone, which I thought was great.

Couple sexy scenes, not many. No real drama. She lies and leaves for a few days to deal with her past, but he goes after her as he knows she was hiding something.

They were both great together. It was mainly them just getting to know each other and fall in love.

No cheating, no ow/om drama, no real separation as they weren’t broken up.

Epilogue is a few days out, 5 years, then at 15 years. They are happily married with 4 kids.

Reads fast as it’s very easy to read and kept my interest throughout. I gave it 🌟🌟🌟🌟 . Thanks for reading.
