Mamacita Needs a Margarita is the 8th in the Beech Grove series and it’s also part of the Ain’t Your Mama series. Each can be read as a standalone, but you will see past characters, which I loved.This has 12 chapters with an epilogue and is about Kayla and Jasper.

Kayla and her daughter Allie are looking for a fresh start and thanks to her cousin Gabe and Daisy, they have a safe place.

Their first meet does not go great. They are neighbors and he’s not happy cause he wanted to by that house. Then he runs his mouth trying to make his friend not even think about Kayla and she hears all the lies he says, which hurts her, but she holds her own.

Lots of steam. He messes up by not telling her about himself and so they are apart a week before he starts working to get her back.

I loved Jasper. He was amazing. You could definitely feel the emotions of the characters.He’s definitely one of my favorites.

Kayla, I like that she didn’t just take things. She spoke her mind.

I loved this story. Very cute read. Just a smidge of drama.

No cheating, no ow/om drama, little over a week separation.

Epilogue is 2 years out, then 4 years later. They are happily married with Allie and Bellamy.
