One incredible Summer evening, a gorgeous man stole Rachel Banning’s heart, then vanished without a trace. Now, five years later, just as she’s finally giving in and making her parents happy by marrying a wealthy lawyer, Jay returns and stops the wedding, and Rachel realizes that the long lost love she thought was gone forever, has only just begun.

May be spoilers:

Bride is a second chance love story that has 14 chapters with an epilogue and is about Rachel and Jay.

I’m really glad that we get to see their beginning.

They met on the shore and fell instantly. They spent a day together and then don’t see each other again until 5 years later and he stops her wedding to someone her parents picked out. She may have been getting married as a business agreement, but she’s still a virgin. It doesn’t say anything about him being with anyone during their time apart.

It was a good read. Just a couple little blips of drama, with him interrupting her wedding and then with his past coming back.

His reasoning for staying away? I’m not sold on that, but it was still a good read.

No cheating, no ow drama, no real om drama, 5 year separation, but no separation once they get together. Lots of steam.

Epilogue is 6 months out. They are happily married and pregnant. Really wish it was further out, but still a good read. I gave it 🌟🌟🌟🌟. Thanks for reading.
