Review: Carter by Elisa Leigh

The visiting crew was only supposed to be in town for a few days to help us get rid of our problem. O’Neil is in the wind, and a few days has turned into a couple of weeks. With every day that passes, it gets harder and harder to stay away from the first woman to capture my attention in years. She is as sweet as candy and innocent as a baby lamb. I have no right wanting her the way that I do, but every time I get a whiff of her cotton candy scent, I become even more addicted.  

I’m going to hell for wanting to make her mine. Her brother will likely kill me if I try. I swear if she asks me for a Shirley Temple one more time, I’m going to lose it and claim her on the fu**ing bar top.

She knows what she’s doing to me when she sucks that red cherry into her mouth and stares at me longingly.

Carter is the 6th in the Steel Daggers MC series. It has 11 chapters with 2 epilogues and is about Carter and Georgia.

She’s been in town for a couple of weeks with her brother and she’s head over heels for Carter. He wants her just as bad, but she’s young and he doesn’t want to make an enemy of her brother, so he hesitates.

Thankfully, we don’t have to wait very long for Carter to come to his senses.

She’s a virgin and it’s been a year for him.

Some steam.

Blip of drama when he walks in as someone kissed her and he didn’t let her explain.

Great read, I thought. Very good. He’s a little rough around the edges, but I loved him.

No cheating- he kissed her, but she pushed him away, ow-just a woman flirting and showing her boobs, om- just the guy who kissed her and the guy she danced with to make Carter jealous, just a few hours apart-so not a true separation.

Epilogue is a few months out, then 10 years later. They are happily married with 2 kids. Great read. I gave it 🌟🌟🌟🌟. Thanks for reading.
