Review: Doc by C.M. Steele

As a part of the Steele Riders, Dr. Joseph “Doc” Simmons knows that things aren’t easy for those in power. Being one of the most successful motorcycle clubs in the region, there’s always someone eager to dethrone, butcher, and bury them.

One of those very attempts on their existence led Sophia into Doc’s arms.

Sophia’s swept in and out of his life, and while young, he can’t deny the way she made him feel. From the second he meets her, he can’t stop himself from wanting the fabled happily ever after. Unfortunately, life just doesn’t work like that and trouble comes beating on their door, forcing Doc to push her away.

Can love last when the timing is all wrong?

Can they survive the danger constantly lurking around the corner?

Can he keep her safe?

The Riders aren’t above taking out threats, and that’s what the Doc will do to claim the woman he loves.

Doc is the 4th in A Steele Riders MC series. I do recommend reading this series in order. It has 28 chapters with an epilogue and is about Doc and Sophia.

Doc is a doctor and we’ve seen him in each story. He meets Sophia as she is Crystal’s sister and they actually met in Boomer.

Thankfully, we do get to see a little of their beginning. They both fall pretty hard, but he’s hesitant because she’s young and he doesn’t want her getting hurt and her dad asks him to give her time.

With everything that happened, 3 months have gone by. She’s hurt thinking that he really didn’t care for her after all.

Things change when something happens and then he’s told she has a date.

Things move quickly after that as they are both so very much in love with the other.

It’s been 10 years for him and she’s a virgin. Lots of steam, but it hits later in the story.

Good story, I loved it. Kept me interested from the very first page. Loved how much he loved her.

No cheating, little ow drama from one of the nurses who tells her a bunch of lies and makes her doubt things for a minute, little om-in the form of the bad guys, no separations once he gets her.

Epilogue is a year, then 4 years later. They are happily married with 3 boys. I gave it 🌟🌟🌟🌟. Thanks for reading.
