Growling For My Mate is the 1st of the Ash Mountain Pack series. It has 16 chapters with the last 2 being epilogues and is about Slate and Grier.

Slate is the Alpha of his pack. He’s been alpha since his parents were killed. He wants nothing more than to find his mate.

Grier has been adopted into a shifter family, but she feels so alone cause she’s the only human.

She’s known Slate for years, but she wasn’t 18.

She gets her feelings hurt when Slate is having a meeting and says something regarding other humans. Right after that, she turns 18.

Slate finally knows she’s his and goes about making her see the same thing.

I love the “mine” talk. I also love that true mates are only with each other and no one else.

There wasn’t a connection in the beginning cause she was still a kid. I love that she didn’t just give in right away.

It was a good story. I liked it.

No cheating, no ow/om drama, 3 day separation.

Epilogue is 1 year, then 10 years later. They are happily mated, married with 3 kids.

Reads fast. It was a good short read. I gave it 🌟🌟🌟 ½ . Thanks for reading.
