I’ve never felt this way before. Seeing her but never having her is torture that even rivals my past… well, almost. I’m too dark, too broken. I never want to bring her into the nightmare that is my life. Just when I think I have found the one to chase away the darkness and heal my broken soul, someone tries to take what’s mine. I find I will stop at nothing to bring them down.
Having five brothers breathing down my back always made my love life nonexistent. But from the moment I met Hawk I knew he was my one; my soulmate. Yet he keeps pulling away even though the attraction is there. When an unseen predator comes calling, my savior may just be the one person that could destroy me. Strength, trust, and light are vital for us, but luckily I think I finally found the key to Healing What’s Mine!

Healing What’s Mine is the 3rd in the Hound Search & Rescue series. I do recommend reading in order as each starts where the last ends off. This one has 18 chapters with 2 epilogues and is about Hawk and Freya.
Hawk went through a lot as a kid so it’s hard for him dealing with women and touching. He’s a cop and very into Freya, but with his past, he doesn’t know what to do with his feelings and not being able to tolerate touch.
Freya, she has a stalker and doesn’t know what to do with it. She’s scared and very into Hawk, but she thinks he doesn’t like her.
Things change when Hawk finds out about the stalker.
I love that we get to see previous characters.
I love that they both want to work together, and be honest with the other to make a relationship work.
Hawk, he went through some things and I love that he was honest with her about everything. She was awesome. She’s very patient and understanding with him.
They are both virgins, which I loved. Lots of steam even though it takes a little bit to get there.
I thought it was a great story. Them dealing with his past, her stalker and joining their lives together.
Loved her family, they were pretty awesome. Love the world building and love the continuing storylines.
Great read. No cheating, no ow/ om drama-other than her stalker, no separations once they are together.
I really wish we were shown further out. They are engaged and pregnant at the end. The 2 epilogues are the set up for the next book with Blakely and Tracker. Can’t wait for that.
Reads fast, flows well, which makes for a great read.
Safety gang: He does describe his past a little bit. He was abused and he was touched without permission.
Loved it. I gave this 🌟🌟🌟🌟.
