Review: Valentine by K.L. Fast and M.K. Moore

Published Feb. 2020

Army vet Justin Glass knows what he wants in life and that comes in the form of Valentine Ratchford.

She is his everything and doesn’t even know it yet…

Barely legal Valentine has had one thing and one thing only on her mind since she met him and now, she’s going to get it.

Are they prepared for the backlash of their forbidden romance or are they too far gone to even care?

Buckle up, because Valentine’s first time is going to be a doozy.

May be spoilers:

Valentine has 6 chapters with 2 epilogues and is about Valentine and Justin.

Justin is best friends with Valentine’s new stepdad. They both have been in love with the other since meeting. It’s been 6 months and now that she’s 18, he’s going to claim what is his.

He’s been celibate for 10 years and she’s a virgin.

Things move very fast, and I love short stories. I just didn’t feel a connection. Flow is off in some places, but still a good read.

It was a cute, steamy story.

No cheating, no ow/om drama, no separations.

Epilogue is 5 months out, then 8 years later. They are happily married with 6 kids.

I liked it, I just didn’t connect with the characters. Still a good steamy read. I gave it 🌟🌟🌟 ½.  Thanks for reading.
