A not-so-delicate girl…

This is the first story that I have read by this author.

His Innocent Flower has 10 chapters with an epilogue and is about Gabriel and Tori.

Tori is a down on her luck flower shop owner. She’s struggling to keep her shop open.

She meets Gabriel as he’s looking for a florist for his daughter’s wedding.

Definite instaconnection/instalove when they meet. He’s all in from the beginning. He definitely knows what he wants.

I do want to say that his wife died 7 years ago, so he’s not still grieving and missing her. I don’t like reading a story with a dead spouse if I feel the new love is second best. Thankfully, I never felt that with this one. If anything, I felt that Tori was his one, his soulmate.

She’s a virgin and he’s been celibate for many years.

They are apart for 2 weeks as she freaks for a minute and avoids him until she can’t anymore.

They are absolutely so sweet together. I really loved it. The steamy parts aren’t a lot, but what there is is pretty hot.

No drama, no cheating, 2 week separation.

Epilogue is 18 months out. They get married and have a baby girl. I do wish it was further out as we see them on the day they get married. Still a good read though. Definitely won’t be the last time I read this author.
