Review: Marco’s Girl by MINK

Published Feb. 2020

High school as the heir to a mafia family isn’t as easy it seems. The prep school lifestyle leaves me cold, and I don’t want to be a part of the lacrosse crowd or make time with the silly girls who think being with me is taking a walk on the wild side. I’m fine in my bubble until I see the new girl through the window. Shy, smart, and with curves that make my mouth water, Evangeline is an unexpected good girl in my bad boy world. Her innocence should make me back off, but I don’t. After all, I’m a Davinci. When I see something I want, I take it.

A chance at going to college is all I need, and this new prep school is the way to do it. Grams took a maid job at a local estate just so I could attend prestigious Brightwood Prep, and I won’t let her down. I’m focused and determined … until I meet Marco. He’s got bad boy written all over him as he sits at the back of the classroom, his eyes eating me up. And that’s only the beginning. Marco isn’t just bad, he’s determined to make me his no matter the cost.

May be spoilers:

Marco’s Girl has 19 chapters with 2 epilogues and is about Marco and Evangeline.

Marco is the brother of Sophia from His Virgin Queen, so I would definitely read that one, just to get a glimpse of him.

Evangeline is a new student and Marco is drawn to her right off the bat.

They are cute. I really love a story that grabs my attention from the beginning and makes me smile.

I loved seeing Sophia and Nick again.

Lots of steam. She’s a virgin, and he might be too.

Good read, I thought. Flows well, which makes for a fast, easy read.

No cheating, Little blip of ow-tries to make a play for him, but it was over pretty quickly. Om drama was pretty much the whole story. He wanted her pretty bad, but Marco handled everything nicely, she wanted nothing to do with him, just a few hours separation.

Epilogue is a couple weeks out, then years later. It is their wedding day and they are pregnant, but he doesn’t know.

It was good. Even though it was years out, I do wish that is was years later of them being married, but I would still classify this as a HEA.

Good read. I gave it 🌟🌟🌟🌟 . Have you read it? What did you think?
