Scarlett is a shy girl who has been bullied all her life because she is bigger. She never takes up for herself.

Marshall, he’s mean to her and doesn’t protect her. More so cause he feels something for her and doesn’t want to. He hasn’t been celibate since meeting, but it didn’t bother me.

Both are in their last year of high school. Things change when Marshall transitions into his wolf and realizes Scarlett is his mate.

She’s very hesitant in her trust of him as he’s hurt her for 5 years with his words. He’s all in though and goes about making her feel safe with him.

There is another boy vying for her attention, but she just thinks of him as a friend. There is a cheerleader that Marshall has slept with that is around and causes a little drama.

She’s a virgin. He’s been celibate since before he realized Scarlett was his mate. I love that they took their time getting to know each other. Steam hit at the end of the story, I do love a lot of steam, but it goes with the storyline.

Good read, I thought. I love how he went about showing her he changed. Really wish for an epilogue, but it is still good.

No cheating, no separations. Slight ow/om drama, but it was nothing major.

The end is just a year that they have been together and they have just gotten married. Good story. I gave it 🌟🌟🌟½ . Have you read it? What did you think?
