All Barbie ever wanted was to own a store filled with romance books. After an unexpected windfall she’s finally got her own place, but some people in town have been less than welcoming. That’s until one dark and stormy night a man that might as well have come straight out of the pages of her dirty books comes to her rescue.

Shaw has relocated from his business in the city to Magnolia Springs to help his mom. He runs her errands and helps her with anything else she needs, but he’s less than thrilled about picking up her list of romance books. When he walks into the store, he’s blindsided by a damsel in distress and is ready to take charge.

Bookstore Barbie is the 1st in the Magnolia Ridge series and it has 17 chapters with 3 epilogues and is about Barbie and Shaw.

This story actually caught my attention from the very first chapter.I love a story that makes me smile most of the way through.

Barbie is struggling with her romance book store.

She meets Shaw when he is doing his mom a favor and picking up her books.

She’s a virgin and we don’t read anything about his past.

It’s just a really good story of these two meeting and falling in love.

Slight drama, but nothing that comes between them.

My kind of story.

Lots of steam.

No cheating, no real ow/om drama-just a blip of both who want them, but didn’t come between them, no separations.

Epilogue is a week out, 4 months later. They are happily married and pregnant. I do wish the epilogue was further out, but it was still a great read and I’m sure we’ll see them in the next story.

Can’t wait to read Kayla and Joe’s story.
