Warning: I do want to warn that if you have triggers, the Rare and White River Wolves series are not for you. Rape is a big part of the story line and it’s mentioned in most, if not all of the stories.

I reread this series occasionally. Keeps my attention start to finish.

You definitely want to read these series in the order that they are intended. The author has the order up on her webpage. It’s a continuous storyline with the main characters changing in each.

Saving Storm is the 4th in the RARE series, but 6th in the reading order. It has 25 chapters and is about Storm and Steele.

Before starting this story, we know that Storm has been taken by the General. She’s a wolf shifter and she’s on the RARE team. Steele, we found out in the last story, is Jade and Jinx’s father and he’s been held and tortured by the general for many years.

This one starts when she’s taken at the end of Trace’s Temptation.

I love Jinx-he’s amazing. He’s trying to help as much as he can without the General knowing. He can only do so much.

You can feel the emotions of the characters, which is awesome, even while it’s heartbreaking.

Steele stays to protect Jinx and Jade, even though he’s strong enough to get out. Once he feels Storm though, he’s going to do everything in his power to protect her.

Lots of emotions.

Love how Storm and Steele get to know each other. Their pasts are heartbreaking and Steele? Really felt for him.

This was a great addition to the storyline. We see why Steele did what he did. We see Jinx doing what is needed to take down the General and get Steele away.

Lots of violence, but it was so awesome. Kept my attention. Reads very fast.

No cheating, no ow/om drama, months apart by distance only, no epilogue as it’s a continuing storyline.

Can’t wait for Angel and Chase’s story. Those two have had nothing but pain.

At the end: Rikki is still in a coma-Jeremiah is still missing, Steele is a part of RARE, Jinx is still doing what he can, still waiting on Angel and Chase-next story, the General is ticked, we find out he has 2 daughters. Can’t wait for more.
