RARE: Rescue and Retrieval Extractions
-they took on the missions that
no one else wanted and did not
stop until the job was done
As leader of an elite mercenary team, Angel Johnston’s life is a constant battle. Not only is she fighting for the innocent people she is hired to rescue, but she is also in the middle of a war against a madman who would do anything to destroy her and the people she loves.
Chase Montgomery is Alpha to the White River Wolves, father of two precious little girls, and Angel’s mate. Or he would be, if she would ever allow him to claim her. He understands her need to know her children are safe from the General first, but the past year without her has been hell, and he’s tired of waiting.
When the General makes his move, and Angel’s world comes crashing down around her, will she be able to put the pieces of her heart back together in time to save the ones who mean the most to her? Can Chase find the strength and will to fight for his future, and that of his family? Or will it be too late?

Warning: I do want to warn that if you have triggers, the Rare and White River Wolves series are not for you. Rape is a big part of the story line and it’s mentioned in most, if not all of the stories.
I reread this series occasionally. Keeps my attention start to finish.
You definitely want to read these series in the order that they are intended. The author has the order up on her webpage. It’s a continuous storyline with the main characters changing in each.
Angel’s Destiny is the 5th in the RARE series, but 7th in the reading order. It has 24 chapters and is about Chase and Angel.
I wait for these 2 to get together each time I read this series. They are both pretty strong Alphas.
Angel is the Alpha of RARE and Chase is the Alpha of the White River Wolves.
Recap: They know they are mates, but Angel has been putting protecting her children and taking down the general before Chase. She’s claimed 2 kids that Chase is taking care of. Jinx is still with the General.
Both have missions helping people. Things change when the general takes the ones that she loves. She finally realizes that they are stronger together and she can claim her mate.
Definitely feel the emotions from the characters.
This was such a great addition to the story line. We get to see Jinx realize that he has people that care about him. We have more additional characters.
Angel and Chase, finally together, which I loved. Understood her reasoning, but definitely glad they are finally together completely.
Lots of violence. We’ve seen more of the general’s daughters.
We get to see past characters. Love the world building.
No cheating, no ow/om drama, no epilogue as it is a continuous storyline.
At the end: Angel and Chase are mated and have combined both the RARE team and his pack, Rikki is still in a coma, Jeremiah is still missing, Flame and Bran still haven’t mated, Jinx and Amber have gone back to the general to take him down from the inside, the general has been hurt badly by Chase.
Good read. Reads fast, flows well. Kept my attention start to finish.
I gave it 🌟🌟🌟🌟. Thanks for reading.
