Warning: I do want to warn that if you have triggers, the Rare and White River Wolves series are not for you. Rape is a big part of the story line and it’s mentioned in most, if not all of the stories.

I reread this series occasionally. Keeps my attention start to finish.

You definitely want to read these series in the order that they are intended. The author has the order up on her webpage. It’s a continuous storyline with the main characters changing in each.

Sable’s Fire is the 4th in the White River Wolves series, but 9th in the reading order. It has 18 chapters and is about Dax and Sable.

Sable is a wolf shifter and is hurting because she feels for her best friend, but they aren’t mates. Thankfully, Chase and Angel have given her a mission to find Xavier and Aiden’s sister that was taken years ago. Love seeing Chase and Angel so connected.

Love seeing all the characters and the world that the author has built.

Dax is a dragon shifter and has just returned home after serving his King. He finds out from one sister that their sister was sold.

They both are on missions.

Dax’s parents are awful-just throwing that out there.

So Dax and Rubi are looking for their sister Raven, who we have heard briefly mentioned in previous stories.

Dragons? Freaking awesome!

I loved this one. They save each other at different times.

Lots of action, kept my attention from the beginning.

No cheating, no real ow/om drama, no separations, no epilogue as it’s a continuous story line.

At the end: Angel and the RARE team are on a mission looking for Jeremiah, the General is starting to wake up, Jinx is looking for Raven for Dax and Sable, Aiden and Xavier have their sister.
