Shadow’s Revenge is the 1st in the Dark Leopards MC East Texas Chapter series and is part of the Dark Leopards Anthology. It has 12 chapters and is about Shayla and Shadow.

I will say that I have not read the anthology.

Starting off, I will say, Dawn Sullivan is awesome at world building. Not sure how she does it, but she brings you in to where you can feel each emotion.

Lots of violence, very descriptive.

Shadow and Shayla both have crappy backgrounds.

Shadow is a panther shifter and is the enforcer for his vp. He is out for revenge on the Wolves MC who hurt him and his brother and killed his mother.

Shayla is an ocelot shifter and is looking for her sister that she just found out she had.

They meet when they both go to take on the wolves.

I love a strong heroine who can hold her own. That’s exactly what Shayla is.

They both know they are mates. Neither are virgins, and nothing is stated about their past.

Couple of steamy parts, but not much.

I love how they connect together with each other, his brother and his MC.

I love how they each have a gift.

Shadow and Demon’s MC show up to help find her sister.

This may be short, but the character development is still there. Kept my attention from the very beginning.

I loved it actually. Great start to the series. Amazing world building.

I love being able to connect with the characters.

No cheating, no ow/om drama, no separations, no push/pull. At the end, they are happily mated.

No epilogue, and always with her stories, I wish there was one, but I know, just like her other series, it’s a continuous storyline, which means we’ll see more of each of the characters in future stories.

Can’t wait for the next.
