Ralynn Hatchet has known since she was six years old that she loved Jaxson Boone. Even though he was twelve years older than she was and happened to be a new prospect in the MC her father was an enforcer for, the Rebel Guardians. Despite her best efforts, he never noticed or paid any attention to her, not even as she got older. Now a young adult, she’s still in love with him, only she’s tired of his lame excuses. Determined to move on with her life, she begins dating Marcus Welch, but she soon realizes that what she thought about him is, in fact, untrue.

Jaxson Boone hasn’t had an easy life, until he found the Rebel Guardians MC. While he’s always noticed Ralynn, it was as a child, since she was so much younger than him. As she grows into a beautiful, headstrong young woman, he does whatever he can to stop his attraction towards her, convinced that he’s no good. He will stay away from her, not only out of respect for his brother, but because he can bring her nothing but heartache.

All of Jaxson’s self-made promises go out the window when he witnesses something that raises his blood pressure beyond the boiling point. Realizing that the one woman he has been pushing away is the one he needs to make his life whole, he now has to work to show Ralynn just what she means to him.

May be spoilers:

Jaxson & Ralynn is part of the Rebel Guardians Next Generation series. It has 18 chapters with an epilogue and is about Jaxson and Ralynn.

Ralynn is DJ and Hatch’s daughter. Their first meet was in Hatch.

Ralynn has loved Jaxson since she was 6 years old.

Jaxson is a patched member of the club and has tried to keep his distance and even hurt her in the process to try to turn her attention.

He’s fallen in love with her, but doesn’t think he’s good enough for her.

Ralynn has finally decided to let go of Jaxson.

She’s in an abusive relationship that she can’t get out of without putting the club in danger.

Everyone is worried as she’s not answering her phone.

Jaxson along with a couple of others are tasked in finding out what is going on.

Ralynn mentions that Marcus roofied her. Just so you are aware.

Neither think they are worthy of the other, but they both need each other.

His story is heartbreaking, but he’s honest with Ralynn, and tells her his story.

I love that all the pushing away happened off page, before the start of the story.

This was just a story of them coming together and being stronger together and them dealing with the people who hurt her.

Such a good story. Lots of emotions that you can feel along with the characters.

Great world building.

I loved Ralynn and Jaxson.

No cheating, no ow drama, om-Marcus, no separations once together.

Epilogue is just a set up for Luca and Gypsy’s story. Really love epilogues, so wish we could have seen where Ralynn and Jaxson ended up, but I’m sure I’ll read them in future stories. They are engaged at the end.

Still a great read.

I gave it 🌟🌟🌟🌟. Have you read it? What did you think?
