Published 2018

Maysen Hatchet is a bit of a loner, always watching the people around her but rarely joining in, she has a small circle of friends she trusts. Plus, a big family courtesy of the Rebel Guardians MC. The day she starts coming out of her shell is the day she meets him. Maddox Weston. Neither of them know what the future holds, but through everything – the bullying at her new high school and her fears about what she’ll do when she grows up – he’s there.

Maddox Weston knows that Maysen is special. Her kindness radiates through her and he counts himself lucky that she’s his best friend. Over the years, their friendship grows into something else and he cannot wait for the day that he can call her his.

When tragedy strikes, he’s there for her but will it be enough? Or will his Maisy-Daisy withdraw and pull away?

Could contain triggers for certain individuals. There is no sexual abuse, but there is a character who is physically assaulted. This is intended for readers 18 years of age and up.

May be spoilers:

Reclaiming Maysen is part of the New Beginnings series. It has 19 chapters with an epilogue and is about Maysen and Maddox.

Maysen is Hatch and DJ’s daughter.

Maddox and Maysen have been best friends since he was 12 and her 10. They lived far away from each other, but that didn’t stop them from getting close.

I like how the set up of the book is, with starting at the beginning, then college life.

I’m not a huge fan of him being with others, but thankfully, after a talk with his parents, he quit that and we don’t actually see him with anyone, it was off page.

He had been celibate for 2 years before they kissed for the first time. She’s a virgin.

Everyone is angry when they find out that she’s been bullied since starting her new school.

Love how her parents and the club take care of everything. Love getting to see a lot of the Rebel Guardians.

Maddox, so sweet with Maysen. Just loved them together.

She was attacked, but she saved herself.

Good read. I loved how much they loved each other.

No cheating, no real ow/ om drama, no separations other than distance once together.

No relationship drama, which I liked.

Epilogue is a couple of weeks out. Wish it was further out. They are engaged at the end.

I gave it 🌟🌟🌟 ½ . Have you read it? What did you think?
