My name is Slash. I’m an Enforcer in the East Texas Chapter of the Dark Leopards MC. I’m not sure what my Prez was thinking when he sent me to deal with damn human trash. They’re nothing but a plague and we’d be better off without them. Fate is probably laughing her ass off because I’ve found my mate and she’s human.

It was supposed to be a simple firearms transaction—but I find my mate in the cartel’s clutches. I take what belongs to me, make her mine, but the humans and their mangy Lycaons think they’ll take her back. My name is Slash. A Slash in the Darkness is part of the Dark Leopards MC East Texas Chapter series. It has 7 chapters and is about Slash and Molly.

Slash is a tiger shifter and an enforcer with his club. He absolutely hates humans as one killed his brother.

Molly is a human and was kidnapped to use against her father.

I know it bothers some. He did have sex with a club girl and it was descriptive, but it was before he met his mate.Not a huge fan of that, but I’ll still read it. I do wish that it was a couple of days in between them instead of the same day, but- beggars can’t be choosers.

The fates laugh as his fated mate is none other than a human.

He smells her when they are making a business transaction. He knows right away who she is to him and saves her.

I thought it was good. Lots of steam.

No cheating, ow-club girl-over quickly, no om drama, no separations.

It was actually only a little space in time. Really wish it was further along. No epilogue.

They are mated and saying I love you at the end.

Good read. Reads fast. Kept my attention from the start.
