Review: Bulldog by Hope Ford

He’s done being alone.

Bulldog

I protect the Ride or Die Bar.

I’m a loner. I do my job, but I’ve built walls around myself and never let anyone in.

That is, until she walks in the door.

There’s something about her that just draws me in and I can’t walk away.

Kate

My friends drag me to the biker bar thinking it would be fun to see some real, true to life bikers.

I’m the responsible one, the designated driver, the one that will keep them all in line.

But one glance at the bouncer has me wanting to change all my ways.

I’m older than him, but maybe it could be fun.. at least for a while.

The alpha males of Heartlands Motorcycle Club are the most possessive, devoted, and territorial men in the country when it comes to the ones they love.

Heartlands is a rough and rugged new series of standalone stories. Written by four of the most trusted names in short and steamy romance, each book will get your motors revved and your hearts racing. Guaranteed.

May be spoilers:

Bulldog is part of the Heartlands Motorcycle Club series. I have been reading them out of order, but I’m sure it would be better to read them in sequence. It has 14 chapters with an epilogue and is about Kate and Bull.

They meet when Kate goes to the bar with some friends.

Bull is the bouncer and he falls for her as soon as he sees her.

Everything moves super fast.

She is older than him by 16 years. I’m not a huge fan of that, but this story actually was pretty good.

She starts off thinking a one night stand with Bull, she could maybe handle. He’s all in from the beginning though.

Neither are virgins and it’s been awhile for each of them.

So, there was a little pushing away from Kate because of the age difference. Not a huge fan of that, especially when he was such a sweetheart.

Good story. Little more pushing away than I like.

Loved that Emma and Bull got along so well.

No cheating between mcs-her ex cheated, ow-customer kissed him, no om drama, a day separation twice.

Epilogue is 6 months out, then 4 years later. They are happily married with Emma.

It was good. Flows well.

I gave it 🌟🌟🌟1/2. Thanks for reading.
