Review: Meeting His Match by Samantha McCoy

Published Aug. 2020

Ridge, Vice President of the North Texas Chapter of the Dark Leopards MC, was in for a hell of a surprise. A man of few words, he lived for only one thing – his club. However, all that changes when he walks into the clubhouse and comes face to face with a feisty woman, who just happens to be harboring a hidden secret.

Andi was living a life filled with mystery. At a young age, she learned that to survive, some things were simply better left in the dark. But when an incident brings her greatest fears into the light, she will be forced to face the fact that her life will never be the same.

Ridge’s patience will be tested, as well as Andi’s ability to trust, as they embark in a war that neither of them may be able to win.

Follow Ridge and Andi in this short story of love, faith, and courage. Journey with them as they discover each other and find a new belief in life.

May be spoilers:

Meeting His Match is part of the Dark Leopards MC series. It has 19 chapters and is about Ridge and Andi.

Ridge is a leopard shifter while Andi is a panther shifter.

They know they are mates right off the bat.

I have to say, I’ve never read a story before, where the 2 parts fight and lose control like Andi did. That was awesome to read. Something new for me.

Definitely feel the emotions.

Ridge, I just loved him. He was all in and very protective.

Just a story with them getting together and trying to control her panther.

While I did like it, I wish it was longer so we could find out if the panther is tamed.Still a good read.

Kept my attention right from the beginning.

No cheating, no ow/om drama-his sister, no separations, no epilogue and one sex scene.

I gave it 🌟🌟🌟🌟. Have you read it? What did you think?

Goodreads shelves: faithful-since-meeting, fast-read, hfn, little-no-steam, mates, misunderstanding, no-cheating-between-mcs, no-real-ow-om-drama, no-separations, no-sex-scenes-with-ow-om, no-virgins, push-pull, read, safe-for-me, shifters
